This agreement records the amount owed to Albert following the end of his employment, and the arrangement by which the Club will pay it.

01Parties

1.1Christchurch United Football Club Incorporated (the Club).

1.2Albert Riera of (Albert).

02Background

2.1Albert's employment with the Club ended on .

2.2The Club has issued a final payslip covering accrued annual leave and an agreed settlement payment. The parties agree the amounts set out in clause 3 are correct.

2.3The Club is not able to pay the full amount immediately and the parties have agreed the payment arrangement in clause 4.

3.1The net amount of $20,656.22 is the sum the Club will pay Albert under this agreement (the Balance).

3.2The Club is responsible for accounting to Inland Revenue for PAYE and any other statutory deductions on the gross amount.

04Payment arrangement

4.1The Club will pay Albert a minimum of $2,000 per week until the Balance is paid in full.

4.2The first payment will be made on Friday 28 August 2026, and each subsequent payment on the same day of each following week.

4.3The Club will make additional lump-sum payments toward the Balance as its cash flow allows. Any lump sum reduces the Balance and shortens the arrangement; it does not replace or defer the weekly minimum.

4.4At $2,000 per week and with no lump sums, the Balance would be paid in full within approximately 11 weeks. The Club will endeavour to settle sooner.

4.5The Club may pay the Balance in full at any time without penalty.

4.6The Club will provide Albert with the remaining Balance on request, and in any event with the final payment.

05Acknowledgements

5.1Albert confirms the amounts in clause 3 are correct and reflect what he is owed.

5.2Once the Balance has been paid in full, the Club has no further obligation to Albert in respect of the amounts set out in clause 3.

5.3Albert has been advised that he may seek independent advice before signing, and has had the opportunity to do so.

06General

6.1Any change to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

6.2Each party will keep the terms of this agreement confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or to a professional adviser.

6.3New Zealand law applies.

6.4This agreement may be signed in counterparts and by electronic signature, each of which is an original.
